PUNCH ABRUZZO - Affogato

AFFOGATO

(A simple Italian iced coffee dessert drink)
Ingredients:
· 2/3 cup ground coffee
· 3 cups cold water
· 1-1 1/2 scoops high-quality vanilla ice cream or gelato
· ¼ tsp Cocoa powder · Shaved dark chocolate (optional)
· 1 ounce PUNCH ABRUZZO 

Directions:
1. Stir coffee grounds and water (fresh brewed coffee, after it’s cooled, also works but may be a bit more acidic.)
2. Cover and set aside for 12 hours
3. Strain out coffee, retain liquid
4. Drop 1scoop of vanilla ice cream into a large espresso cup or wide coffee mug
5. Pour ½ cup cold coffee over the top
6. Drizzle with Punch Abruzzo and sprinkle with cocoa powder and shaved dark chocolate. Enjoy!
